Tomorrow Pughearts will be at Floppy Pets with many fosters bringing out their foster pugs who are up for adoption! This is a wonderful way to meet some of the pugs and chat with their foster mom or dad about a pug you may be interested in! Gimmie a Bark in Friendswood will be generously hosting the pugs and their people friends for a Christmas Party on Sunday 12/8/13 from 1pm to 4pm.  We will have Santa photos going again this year for a $10 donation. There will also be drinks and snacks.

We have a very special event planned for Saturday 12/14/13.  Paint for the Pugs will be a PERSON ONLY event where you will be guided through creating an acrylic painting of your own pug (or one of ours if you prefer).    Just in time for that special Christmas gift!

This event will run from 6pm to 8pm at the Club House (located at 2900 Manvel Road Pearland, TX).  There will be a $50 charge to participate (paid in advance), which will cover all your supplies and instruction.  Payments can be paid in cash or check at any upcoming events or via paypal at www.pughearts.com, and indicate Paint for the Pugs in comments.

The amazing and beyond talented Karen Rudat will be creating a stencil/transfer from a photo of your very own pug (she recommends face shots for best results).  You will need to email her your photo or you can post it here in this thread by no later than 12/7/2013.  At the event on 12/14 you will be able to transfer the drawing based upon your photo to a gallery-wrapped canvas, and then go on to paint your own pug masterpiece!!!!

This is the first time we have ever done an event like this and spaces are limited, so sign up now!

The pugs and their people will be outside Chippendale Eastlake Antiques at 250 W19th st Houston, TX 77008 for Holiday in the Heights!

This is an outdoor event, but we will have heaters for the pugs.  Bundle up and make sure the pugs are all in their Christmas best!

We have so many new fosters and volunteers and we would like to get both new and old together for an informational meeting.  This is a PEOPLE ONLY event.  The purpose will be to review our foster and volunteer programs and answer whatever questions you have.

We also hope to have helpful products that many of our experienced fosters use available for purchase or loan. 

The meeting will take place at the "club house" (2900 Manvel Road Pearland, TX on Sunday 1/19/2014 from 2pm until 4pm.

This year, Pet Fest 2013 is being held all over the charming town of Old Town Spring so not only can you come out to support animal rescue, you can shop at the many unique stores and businesses.

Many stores and businesses are supporting Pet Fest 2012 by hosting different booths at their store locations.

Historic Old Town Spring is located just 20 miles north of Houston on Interstate 45. Take Exit 70A to the traffic light and take a right (east) on Spring Cypress Road. Old Town Spring is just 1 mile east of Interstate 45 on Spring Cypress.
