this is an indoor adoption event so please bring your fosters out to meet potential adopters and vice verse!  (if your boys are prone to mark, please come prepared with a bellyband).

Sustain Juicery has just opened a location in West University and is run by PugHearts' own Wen and Astrid!!!  They are graciously donating 10% of any sales when you mention PugHearts during the month of August and to kick it off PugHearts will have a small adoption event at Sustain on Saturday 8/2/14 from 1pm to 3pm. 

Sustain Juicery has tons of made to order COLD PRESSED juices and smoothies.  They also offer juice cleanses.  They strive for locally and/or organically grown ingredients.  If you are a long time juicer or just getting into it, you should check them out - and mention PugHearts!

The adoption even on 8/2/14 will run from 1pm to 3pm and will be indoors, but there is limited space, so please leave personal dogs at home (unless you have a meet and greet scheduled).

It's that time again...COME ONE, COME ALL to the 2014 Houston World Series of Dog Shows at Reliant Center.  This is a MULTIDAY event and we need a lot of volunteers.  the event runs 8am to 7pm on 7/16/14 through 7/19/14 and from 8am to 6pm on Sunday 7/20/14.

You have to pay to park and get into this event and there is a lot of shopping you can do, so BRING CASH!  (please note - PugHearts will have a few bracelets for volunteers to get in, but they are very limited).  Sometimes tickets are sold on Groupon for BOGO.

We all know the weather in July is brutal, so the pugs will be out at Gimmie a Bark on Sunday 7/13/14 from 1-4pm.  There is always the indoor playroom, but since it is summer, we will have baby pools out in the yard for the pugs to cool off in!  Get those pug bathing suites and towels ready and come on out!  This will be a great event for all pugs and potential adopters to come out to.
