We have so many new fosters and volunteers and we would like to get both new and old together for an informational meeting.  This is a PEOPLE ONLY event.  The purpose will be to review our foster and volunteer programs and answer whatever questions you have.

We also hope to have helpful products that many of our experienced fosters use available for purchase or loan. 

The meeting will take place at the "club house" (2900 Manvel Road Pearland, TX on Sunday 1/19/2014 from 2pm until 4pm.

I hope you all can make it out because it will be a great place for everyone to exchange knowledge.

It is official...PugHearts and the Pugs will be on the north side at Pet Fest in Old Town Spring for the weekend of 10/19-10/20! Saturday 10a-5p, Sunday 11a-5p

This year, Pet Fest 2013 is being held all over the charming town of Old Town Spring so not only can you come out to support animal rescue, you can shop at the many unique stores and businesses.

Many stores and businesses are supporting Pet Fest 2012 by hosting different booths at their store locations.

Historic Old Town Spring is located just 20 miles north of Houston on Interstate 45. Take Exit 70A to the traffic light and take a right (east) on Spring Cypress Road. Old Town Spring is just 1 mile east of Interstate 45 on Spring Cypress.

Pets must be on a leash, crated or in an x-pen at all times. PetFest is not responsible for the actions of your pet. Pets must be under control at all times. Pets must be current on vaccinations. Pets be sociable with other animals, adults and children and not aggressive about food toys or owner. Pets must be comfortable in a loud and festive environment. Please be aware of the stress level of your pet at all times. We want this to be a positive experience for everyone. Pets must be at least 4 months old since younger animals have weak or no immune systems. Sponsers reserve the right to refuse entrance or ask to leave anyone whose pet is exhibiting aggressive behavior.

PugHearts and their pugs will be at the Meadowlake Pet Resort for Pup-a-polooza on Saturday 10/12/13.

Pup-A-Palooza is a one day event featuring adoptable pets from the Houston area rescue groups, DockDogs competition, local vendors and activities for the whole family.  This event is free to the public   Pup-A-Palooza will be hosted at Meadowlake Pet Resort & Training Center from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM on Saturday October 12th.

Those of you that attended the informal social we had at Winston's on Washington a while back know how great this place is!  I am happy to announce that the pugs will be having a party at Winston's on Saturday 9/28/2013 from 4pm to 8pm!  Dogs, people, and children are all welcome to come.

Winston's on Washington is a dog friendly Gastropub and they have a great outdoor area for the dogs and their people to hang out!

The Pugs are throwing a Pug-a-rita happy hour party on Saturday 9/7/2013 at "the club house" (2900 manvel rd) in Pearland Texas!  The party will run from 5:30pm to 8:30pm and we will have food and drinks available.  Also, dogs are welcome to attend with you as long as they are sociable and kept on lead.  The foster dogs will be there in the pug pen to greet everyone and try to find a FUR-ever home.

We are asking for a donation of $10 at the door that will include admission to the festivities, one drink ticket and food. 

The pugs are still busy planning this so more information will be posted later, but they want you all to get it on your calendars now!.

So far they have secured a DJ, food, some drinks, and Doggie in Wonderland online pet boutique will even be there for your shopping pleasure!
